Hi, I’m Tyler Wallace, and I’m here to make AP Calculus feel doable — and even fun. I’m a math educator, content creator, and lifelong learner who loves helping students build confidence and mastery in calculus.

I started sharing math content on TikTok in 2021, originally to document my return to teaching after COVID. A few months later, I began creating short, engaging videos about calculus concepts, exam tips, and math trends — and those videos took off. Over the past five years, my content has grown to nearly half a million followers across TikTok and Instagram, becoming an active part of the #MathTok and #MathReels community. My goal on social media has always been simple: to show that mathematics can be fun, approachable, and empowering.

Behind the videos is a deep foundation in mathematics and education. I began my studies at Blue Mountain Community College, earning an AS in Mathematics and Computer Science, then completed a BS in Mathematics and BA in Spanish at George Fox University, where I also studied abroad in Spain, Costa Rica, and Panama. I later earned a MAT in Teaching Mathematics from George Fox, an MA in Mathematics from the University of Houston, and a Doctorate in Education (Ed.D.) from Liberty University.

I’ve traveled extensively — 26 countries and 3 territories — which has shaped how I teach and connect with students from all backgrounds. I currently live in the USA with my wonderful wife and two kids. Outside of math, I enjoy running (half marathons are my favorite), ping pong, tennis, pickleball, badminton, and camping with my family whenever we can.

I created this AP Calculus review platform to go beyond short-form videos and give students what they really need to succeed: unlimited practice, clear step-by-step video explanations, and live support, all in one place.
